The Crinan Puffer is an 8 mile point-to-point race alongside the historic Crinan Canal, sometimes referred to as Scotland’s most scenic shortcut.
The race starts at Crinan Basin and finish in Ardrishaig at Lock 4 behind the Grey Gull Hotel. The course is generally flat and is run almost entirely off road by utilising the canal towpath. The course will be well marked and there will be marshals at various key points. There will be two water stations offering water on the course. The tow path will be open to the public during the race and we ask all competitors to be respectful of other users whilst running.
